every two years, my book club publishes a conspectus which contains (among other things) statistics on all of the books that we have read thus far*. this chart from the latest edition shows the longest word in each book. p.k. dick wins the prize with 25 letters of compound german insanity.
select parts of the conspectus are online. because my book club qualifies as a 507(k)4 secret society, most of it is heavily redacted. i apologize for this, but in all honesty, my apology is insincere.
