New York was fun. Seeing my sister, doing a photo scavenger hunt set by my bf, exploring, all good stuff. Wicked was wonderful, the Harry Potter exhibition was nice, and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2 was emotional. I geeked out at the NBC store, ate at a dozen different amazing places, I met some great people who invited me to stay anytime, made new friends, and found some favorite places. Everyone...

Do I not live in manhattan? This is pretty wonderful, not gonna lie. I don’t even mind the smell, because it comes with public transit.
While sleeping on an air mattress in New York
I’m waiting for the right moment to steal to the bathroom. Last night two other people came here to sleep, too, and I didn’t meet them because they got here after I passed out. Good way to meet someone, yeah? Oh, hey! I look like shit, but so do you! Nice to meet you.

Flew to NYC.
Went to the Harry Potter exhibition.
Ate red meat (!) delicious.
Saw HP 7.2.
Cried. Repeatedly.
Had chocolate cheesecake.
Drank some beers.
Tumblr’ed from an airmattress in Harlem.
All of this took place in or next to Times Square. Except the Harlem bit.

I made the 1pm flight. Booyah. I beat out a couple who were on standby. I couldn’t help but feel devious and guilty all at once.

Missed my flight
Oops. Charlotte is much farther from Columbia than I had anticipated. And traffic was murder. I’ve had some, shall we say, bad experiences with standby flights. But if I don’t catch this one, I’m guaranteed a spot on the 4pm. Either way, NYC, here I come. I hope they are ready.
